About SynthVault
We built the vault platform we wished existed — because machine learning assets deserve the same rigour as financial data and intellectual property.
Our Story
SynthVault Inc. was founded in Vancouver by a team of ML infrastructure engineers who had spent years watching organisations lose track of model versions, deploy unvetted checkpoints to production, and struggle with audit requests they could not fulfil. The problem was never a lack of talent — it was a lack of infrastructure purpose-built for AI assets.
We set out to build a secure vault platform that treats models, datasets, and deployment manifests as first-class citizens with encryption, access controls, and audit trails from day one. Today, SynthVault secures over 320 models for 24 enterprise clients across Canada and beyond.
Our headquarters at 595 Burrard Street places us at the centre of Vancouver's technology corridor, where we collaborate with research institutions, regulated industries, and growing ML teams who share our conviction that AI governance starts with secure storage.
Leadership
SynthVault is led by engineers and security practitioners — not marketers. Our leadership team brings decades of combined experience in machine learning operations, cloud security, and enterprise software from organisations including Amazon, Microsoft, and the Government of Canada.
We believe transparency is essential in the AI infrastructure space. That means being clear about what our platform does — secure vault storage and governance — and what it does not do. We are not a marketing agency, advertising platform, or creative services firm. We will never offer those services.
Our commitment to Canadian privacy law shapes every product decision. PIPEDA compliance, data residency options, and consent management are core platform features, not afterthoughts bolted on for enterprise sales.
